Please read these terms of use carefully before you start using our platform. By accessing and using this website and services, you agree to comply with these terms. If you do not agree to any of them, please do not use this site.

1. Service Provider Information

2. Service Description

   We provide a digital platform where users can create their own online schools, add courses, edit pages and sell content. All services are provided in electronic format.

3. Registration and Account

   To fully use the services, you need to create an account.

   You are responsible for:

   • Canceling subscription in your profile;
   • accuracy and currency of provided information;
   • security of your account (including password).

The service provider reserves the right to close or restrict access to users who violate the terms or pose threats to system security.

4. Payments and Subscription

   Paid SelfGrow services (subscription and add-ons) are paid directly to the Service Provider via Stripe. In these payments the Service Provider is the merchant of record. Prices are indicated in EUR including VAT. More information about refund conditions is available in the refund policy.

   Payment integrations (Stripe Connect, PayPal, Montonio, EveryPay, etc.)

   The platform allows the User (school owner) to connect payment service providers, including but not limited to:

   • Stripe Connect;
   • PayPal;
   • Montonio;
   • EveryPay;
   • and other payment solutions available on the platform.

   In these integrations SelfGrow / the Service Provider acts only as a technical integrator (software intermediary) that provides the connection and technical exchange with the relevant payment system.

   If the User accepts payments from their own customers (for example, students) for their own products or services:

   1. payments are processed through the User’s account with the chosen payment service provider (this is not a purchase from SelfGrow);
   2. the User is the merchant of record towards their customers;
   3. the User is fully responsible for:
      • prices, offers and contractual terms with their customers;
      • VAT and other taxes;
      • invoices / receipts;
      • refunds, cancellations and chargebacks / disputes;
      • KYC/AML and other requirements of the payment service provider;
      • compliance with the rules of Stripe, PayPal, Montonio, EveryPay and other providers;
   4. SelfGrow is not a party to the contract with the end buyer and is not responsible for the User’s customer payments, goods/services, quality, delivery, refunds or disputes;
   5. if a platform fee is charged (for example, a Stripe Connect application fee), it is a fee for the technical service and does not change the allocation of responsibility: the User remains responsible towards the end customer.

   The User confirms that they have the right and all necessary authorisations to use the chosen payment solution in their own name.

5. User Obligations

   You agree to:

   • not use the platform for illegal purposes;
   • not violate copyrights or third-party rights;
   • not distribute malicious software or harmful content.

You are fully responsible for the content you add to your online school.

6. Limitation of Liability

   We strive to provide quality and secure service, however:

   • the platform is provided "as is" without warranties of continuous availability or absence of errors;
   • we are not responsible for any losses arising from user actions or third parties.

7. Intellectual Property

   The entire architecture, layout, design and technical systems of the platform (including website, applications, design elements, structure, code, databases and functionality) are the intellectual property of SIA Pro Web Works. These rights are protected in accordance with applicable copyright and intellectual property protection laws.

   Users who publish or upload courses, materials, images, videos or other content on the platform retain copyright to this content. At the same time, by adding content to the platform, the user grants [Your Company] non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide rights to display, reproduce, adapt and technically process this content within the framework of platform operations, including:

   • to provide access to content to other users according to the selected access level;
   • to create previews adapted for viewing on various devices;
   • to promote content advertising on the platform (for example, as part of recommendations or course lists).

   Users confirm that they have all necessary rights to upload and publish the relevant content and that this action does not violate third-party rights.

8. Changes to Terms

   We reserve the right to change these terms at any time by publishing an updated version on this page. Changes take effect from the moment of publication. Continued use of the service by the user means agreement to the new terms.

9. Jurisdiction and Dispute Resolution

   These terms are interpreted and applied in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia. All disputes are resolved by mutual agreement or, if this is not possible, in Latvian courts.
