Where to sign up

Create and activate a business account on the Stripe website. If you do not have one yet, Stripe Connect is simpler: you sign up right inside SelfGrow and need no API keys.

Step by step

  1. In the Stripe dashboard, open Developers → API keys and copy the Publishable key and the Secret key.
  2. In SelfGrow, open Integrations → Stripe and paste both keys.
  3. In Stripe, open Webhooks → Add endpoint, paste the webhook URL shown in SelfGrow and select the listed events.
  4. Copy the webhook signing secret, paste it into SelfGrow and click “Save and check”.

What is the difference between Stripe and Stripe Connect?

Stripe is connected with your own API keys and a webhook. Stripe Connect needs no keys: the account is created and linked inside SelfGrow, and a platform fee is deducted from payments according to your plan.
